Large Carp and yellows can be caught in the Vaal River near Potchefstroom. We have
been fishing in that area and were really blessed with some nice fish

Tiger Fishing Josini
Fishing at its best. I believe that the Tigers are on the go already at Josini (Pongola Poort Dam) in Kwazulu Natal. A few few years ago we caught some REAL TIGERS there. Normally , the better months are mid summer , or from September to February. Tigers on the fly can be great fun, but be prepared to brake or loose some tackle if you are not experienced.
Accommodation are available at the lodge and resorts on the dam and close to the best fishing spots. You will need a boat of some kind and also have the use of boats at some of the lodges.
