However, on closer examination one would find that apart from the treasures of diamonds and uranium, currently being mined in the Namib, a bigger ‘treasure’ of very unique animal & plant life could be found. The one outstanding living wonder of the desert is the welwitschia mirabilis. This is a plant that can live for up to five hundred years in the desert. Although its tenacity and longevity are remarkable, the fact that it has the appearance of a heap of garden refuse means that on viewing you should concentrate on the ‘five hundred years’ bit and not expect an earth-shattering visual experience. The “Sheltering” Desert: At the start of the Second World War Henno Martin, along with his colleague and friend Hermann Korn, feared internment in a camp for Nazi’s and escaped into the Namib Desert. Prospectors were forced to turn northwards beyond the Sperrgebiet. This resulted in the discovery of diamonds at Spencer Bay and between Meob and the Conception Bay area (Diamond area no 2) during December 1908. A total of 5000 diamond claims were registered in 1909 and hopeful prospectors tried their luck at Saddle Hill and Spencer Bay and via Swakopmund and Sandwich Harbour southwards towards Meob Bay. Various shipping casualties occurred, such as when the Eduard Bohlen intended to off-load mining equipment and was consequently lost at Conception Bay (1909). During 1912/1913 a light railway from Conception Bay to Conception Water and an 80-kilometer pipeline linking the settlements were constructed. Probably the first European to set foot on Namibian soil was the Portuguese Diogo Cao or Diogo Cam, followed by Bartholomeu Diaz two years later, on 8 December 1487. This date represented the holiday of “Maria’s Conception”. Therefore the bay received the name” Santa Maria da Conceicao” (Conception Bay). Today you will most likely see vast flocks of birds, drive past Cape Fur seal colonies, visit the wreck of the E Bohlen near Conception Bay (1909) and see various ‘relics’ dating back to the diamond mining era. In November 1914 all the people in this area were requested to stop operations and to proceed to Swakopmund up country. This order came as a result of an expected invasion of allied troops. We will be camping in the Conception Bay area. From Conception Bay you will be driving on the beach with magnificent scenery. You will experience freedom – BIG TIME!! We are heading northwards towards Sandwich Bay passing the wreck of the Shawnee and negotiating ‘Langewand’ where massive dunes end in the sea. There is only a very limited time span to negotiate this stretch of beach. After Langewand the trail once again leads into the dunes, circumnavigating the Salt Pan ‘extensions’ of Sandwich Harbour. The dunes are still getting progressively larger to offer an ever-changing new experience of ultimate dune driving. From Sandwich the trail enters the ‘Roller Coaster’, a series of massive ‘roaring’ slip faces, not only giving you a new thrilling experience but also offering breathtaking views of Sandwich Harbour and a panorama of sandscapes on the way to Walvis where the trip will be concluded over dinner at the Yacht Club.
Tourists and visitors to South Africa can travel and stay safe in South Africa , provided that they adhere to a few principals.

The current wave of crime in South Africa is a serious problem, not only for the locals but also for prospective tourists and other international visitors.

Visitors and tourists to South Africa can have a relaxed and safe holiday by doing a bit of planning and preparation before they visit this beautiful country.

First of all, make sure that the accommodation, restaurant, shop or any other venue you visit, have a VSR or a Venue Safe Rating™. You can visit the VSR database (Venue Safe Rating ™ Database) to view the venues that have been rated and listed to assure a better, safer and relaxed holiday when you visit South Africa.

Venue Safe Rating ™ or the VSR.CO.ZA website, allows owners of venues like hotels, guest houses, holiday accommodation venues, conference venues, shops, training facilities, and other venues and routes, to indicate to tourists and visitors, how safe their venues are.

Safe venues has become an important issue for visitors and tourists with the increased crime situation in South Africa. Many enquiries about safe venues and restaurants caused a need to create a Safe Venue database. The Venue Safe Rating ™ database and VSR.CO.ZA website collects information based on a few questions , answered by owners of these venues like accommodation , shops and restaurants. This information is used to calculate a rating out of 5, to indicate how safe a venue is. Generally , any rating between 1 and 5 should be fairly safe for tourist and visitors. A venue Safe Rating of 1 is not necessarily a bad rating. At least, the owner of such a venue is prepared to answer these questions and is therefore a indication that he is concerned about the safety of his clients.

The Venue safe Rating can be increased by having a proper security risk assessment done by a professional like ALWINCO.

South Africa is a beautiful country with many awesome places to visit and great people. South Africans are friendly and warm people who are always prepared to accommodate visitors and tourists. Make your visit to South Africa an unforgettable experience by using facilities with a VSR rating, ensuring that you use safe facilities that are available throughout South Africa.

A venue Safe Rating will give most tourists the assurance and comfort they need to visit and stay at certain venues when they tour this country.

Venue Safe Rating ™ logos and certificates will also be displayed by members of the VSR database.

Tourists and other visitors should lookout for these VSR signs and also insist on a Venue Safe Rating when they visit any place to stay , eat or shop.

VSR (Venue Safe Rating ™) is not an indication that a place is perfectly safe, but surely and indication that the owner of such a venue is doing something to protect his client from unnecessary situations.

They database for Venue Safe Rating ™ will soon be populated and can be viewed at the vsr.co.za website.

This database will be available for all members of public as well as organisations like travel agencies and booking agents.

Prepare and plan a safe holiday and visit to South Africa.

NGWENYA LODGE
KOMATIPOORT AREA – LIMPOPO PROVINCE

Private timeshare for sale in Ngwenya for one week in the April school holidays.

Ngwenya Lodge, a great holiday timeshare forsale. This awesome holiday resort is located on the banks
of the Crocodile River near Komatipoort. Just a few kilometers from the famous Kruger national park,
it is one of the most popular resorts for time share available in South Africa.

Luxury Timeshare holiday accommodation
Accommodation is provided in luxury air-conditioned one, two and three bedroom facebrick thatched
lodges, which are fully equipped (Satellite TV, towels, linen, cutlery and crockery) and is serviced
on a daily basis. Each lodge has its own braai facility and carport.

This unit , Unit 530, Week H03 at Nwenya Lodge is for sale at a ridiculous low price of R65000.00

Timeshare Ngwenya Lodge Komatipoort Limpopo Province on the border of the Kruger National Park .

The probability that more land along this river will be zoned for resort development in future is
remote, because the available land is extensively used for agriculture and the National Parks Board of
South Africa opposes any new developments along the borders of the Kruger National Park. This implies
that the Ngwenya resort site will probably be the last new resort location along the boundary of the
Kruger National Park.

Timeshare Kruger National Park at Ngwenya Lodge Komatipoort Limpopo Province on the border of the Kruger National Park .

There are no game fences between Ngwenya and the Kruger National Park and the Crocodile River forms
the only physical boundary between these two areas. This feature surely places the resort in a rather
unique situation. During winter months, when the flow of the river is at its lowest, wild animals such
as lion, buffalo and elephant have been known to visit the premises or wander along the river bank
directly in front of the resort. Ngwenya also plays host to hippopotamus which have found dams on the
resort a better home than the river itself.

Holiday Accommodation at its best with this timeshare on the border of the Kruger National Park

For first time visitors to this part of the country, the climate may vary from temperate during
winter, to warm and humid during the summer months. The relatively high humidity is caused by the fact
that Ngwenya is some ninety kilometres away from the Indian ocean with its warm Mozambique currents.

View some more pictures of the Kruger National park here

Early mornings and late afternoons provide the best times for game viewing from look-out points onto
watering-holes along the banks of the Crocodile River and from the site itself. Bird-watching, within
an area where the highest density of different bird species in the country is found, can virtually be
undertaken from the comfort of your deck chair. Well constructed hide and viewing platforms are
available along the river banks.

Holiday resort near the Kruger National Park – Ngwenya lodge Timeshare (private sale for a giveaway price)

The development also has an environmental centre, four swimming pools, two tennis courts, mini golf and a play ground for youngsters – all set in immaculately maintained tropical gardens ideal for birding and tree spotting.

Vist the Kruger National Park
From the site, game drives can be conducted into the Kruger National Park, from Ngwenya via the Crocodile Bridge or the Malelane gates. Various one-day trips can also be arranged. Trips from Ngwenya, through the Crocodile Bridge Rest Camp, to Lower Sabie and Satara Camps and back, or through Crocodile Bridge Rest Camp to Skukuza and Tsokwane rest camps, or a third day trip can be arranged through Crocodile Bridge, to Berg-en-Dal and Malelane and back to Ngwenya. It is in this area of the
Kruger National Park where the most prolific wild life can be experienced.

Tigerfish and Vundu in the Crocodile River
For fishing enthusiasts, permits can be obtained from the National Parks Board with special permission
to fish Tiger Fish and Vundu in the Crocodile and Komati Rivers. Fishing spots are not more than a
twenty minute drive away from the Ngwenya site.

Ngweya Lodge at the Kruger National Park offers much more than just accommodation.

Sail boating and water skiing is possible in dams which are all within one hour’s drive from the site.
Golfers are catered for at the Malelane golf course which is thirty five minutes away from Ngwenya.
The Piggs Peak Casino in the Kingdom of Swaziland is also within easy reach of the resort. The Swaziland border is only thirty five kilometres away from Ngwenya, where arts and crafts stalls with
native Swazi artefacts can be seen. There are numerous arts and crafts stalls on route between Nelspruit and White River.

Walk in the Kruger National Park
Various wilderness hiking trails, under the guidance of a game ranger, can be booked within the Kruger
National Park where tourist can experience the African bush and enjoy the excitement of camping out in
the open. These wilderness hikers are very sought after and special arrangements and bookings will
have to made well in advance.

Take a trip to Mozambique from Nwenya Lodge
With the Mozambique border becoming more accessible, trips to Maputo, approximately ninety kilometres
away, are a reality. This affords the discerning tourist the opportunity of game fishing, snorkelling
and scuba diving excursions along some of the most beautiful coral reefs along the east coast of
Africa.

Tour Sugar mills and Sudwala caves.

Tours to the sugar mills at both Komatipoort and Malelane can also be arranged. There are various game parks with hiking trials within the borders of Swaziland. The old mining town of Barberton, some ninety kilometres from the resort, will provide some insight into the historic past of that region.
The Sudwala caves and Montrose falls near Nelspruit can be undertaken as a day trip from the resort, with a visit to the “Craft Kraal” and crocodile ranch as part thereof.

Airport close to Nwenya Lodge and Kruger National park
The International airport at Nelspruit place the resort within easy access from most major centres. A luxury coach tour from Johannesburg, some four hundred and sixty kilometres away, can also be an entertaining experience of changing landscapes, climate and topography.

Africa at its best
Come visit and experience the tranquility and beauty of the Mpumalanga and get a taste of Africa.
Experience the wild side of Africa in the comfort and safety of this luxurious holiday timeshare.

Other Information:
Ngwenya Lodge is mainly a timeshare resort and accommodation only becomes available for rental if the
owners decide not to make use of it themselves and they also opt not to bank it with RCI. They have up
to 4 months prior to arrival to indicate this so availability can not be checked more than 4 months in
advance. For the same reason we do not accept 1 night bookings since it is then difficult to rent out
the remainder of the days for that timeshare week.
- Weeks run from one Friday to the next so bookings running over more than 1 timeshare week (including
a consecutive Thursday & Friday) are generally not available unless the same unit is not being used by
two consecutive owners and both of them decide not to bank their unit. Such bookings might be possible
if guests are prepared to move to another unit on the Friday.
A shade netting floor will help prevent all that sand getting into your gear and equipment. At Guinjata Dive Centre, we make the diving life easy!

The area offers excellent game fishing. For the keen angler, salt-water fly-fishing is a must. A huge variety of game fish can be found in abundance in the water near the Guinjata Resort. Regular bait fish can be seen in the bay jumping out of the water to escape the hungry mouths of Kingfish, Barracuda, Sailfish and Marlin.

Spear fishing
Spear fishing is one of the favourite pastimes of the local population. For those who prefer this more extreme version of fishing, charters can be arranged, through various fishing charter outfits in the area.

As little as 10 years ago, no one would have dreamt of having a wedding out of the ordinary. A traditional church wedding, on a Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock, was the norm. The bride and her entourage would arrive at the church by car – may be a limousine, ( if you were brave enough to dare !) The reception would be in a nearby hall, and the newly weds would leave on their honeymoon by car. All the family and friends, as well as the whole neighbourhood were invited to the wedding – a wedding was supposed to be a big and happy family affair. No-one would have dreamt of using a helicopter as transport, let alone incorporating the helicopter in the wedding ceremony as a whole.

But, luckily, times have changed and more and more couples tend to move away from the traditional wedding and would like to consider something new. Weddings and wedding venues have changed a lot – people nowadays like more intimate weddings with a short guest list, but at a very exclusive venue, such as a lodge or game reserve, sometimes remote and far away from civilization. But that leads to another problem : how to get everyone and everything needed for the occasion at the venue. We have the solution to your problem : charter a helicopter from Airzone Aviation !

Have you ever dreamed of an extraordinary wedding ? What about a wedding on top of the highest peak of the Drakensberg mountains, but getting everyone there seemed a problem ? Now it is possible, with a chartered helicopter !

The one outstanding aspect of a helicopter is that it can reach places that would otherwise been out of reach with other means of transport. Now a helicopter can make your dream come true, because you can have that wedding that you have always dreamed of.

With a chartered helicopter from Airzone Aviation you and your loved ones can be transported to that dream destination where you always dreamed of to get married.

Nothing is too far or too remote for us.

It is important, when planning your wedding, to decide what type of transport to use on your wedding day. Using a helicopter to get to your destination, why not combine the wedding with a helicopter ceremony, reception or honeymoon.? You get the advantage of enjoying spectacular views with the thrill of a helicopter ride, and you are dropped on the doorstep of your wedding or honeymoon destination. Flying by chartered helicopter can be summarized in three words : efficiency, privacy and flexibility.

Imagine all the beautiful places in South Africa : the majestic Drakensberg mountain range, the beautiful Atlantic coastline of the Western Cape, the long stretched beaches of the southern Cape and Kwazulu Natal. Maybe you prefer the city lights of Cape Town, Durban or Johannesburg, or you and your partner feel that you would like to take your wedding vows at a remote spot in the Kruger National Park or Bushveld. Think of any spot in Southern Africa and we will take you and your guests there : Mozambique, Zambia, Botswana Zambia, virtually any destination in Southern Africa. With Airzone Aviation’s chartered helicopters, your dream wedding can now become a reality. You can get married at any place in our country, because you can get there by helicopter.

We can arrange everything for you including the ceremony and the honeymoon. afterwards. And if you feel like it, stop anywhere along the route and enjoy a glass of champagne to celebrate the wonderful occasion. An added advantage is the beautiful photographs that can be taken of your special day, with breathtaking views of our spectacular country as background. This will be an unforgettable occasion which you can cherish for years to come and the memories cannot be taken away from you.

You will be flown to your wedding destination by experienced helicopter pilots, using Robinson R44 and R22 helicopters. Their main concern is to get you and your guests to your wedding destination safely. Your safety and comfort is our main concern, and we will do our utmost to make your wedding an unforgettable experience. Our mission is to provide a professional on-time and outstanding air charter service to you.

At Airzone Aviation we will make sure that your wedding day transport is affordable and unforgettable. Airzone Aviation will deliver you safely to your ceremony and/or reception in style on your wedding day. Come and try a once in a lifetime experience you and your partner will never forget.

We look forward to making your dream come true, an extraordinary wedding that will be envied by friends and family. Make us your partner by helping you make your wedding unforgettable

On our flights, you also have your own pilot or guide to take you on your trip of a lifetime. Our pilots are experienced and professional and they have the knowledge of the areas that we travel to. Now you can reach your destination relaxed, without having to worry about delays in departure time of aircraft, traffic or unforeseen circumstances.

In our helicopters, you can sit back and enjoy the scenic beauty of South Africa, from the comfort of the helicopter.

Your vacation starts with the helicopter ride ! Once you have decided to travel by helicopter, we can start planning your holiday ! We want to know where you would like to go, what you would like to do and what you would like to see. Remember, we can go where you want to go, therefore, let your imagination go, the options are endless.

For the holiday of a lifetime, use the helicopter charter concept as a basis.
For the business traveller the opportunities are even more exciting . Chartering a private helicopter has several advantages over flying with commercial airlines. Flying with a chartered helicopter allows you more flexibility when arranging your trip. You can depart when you want to, arriving at your destination just on time for that important meeting, without having to be dependant on commercial flights and public transport.

There will be no more flight delays, lost luggage, or paying for extended parking or even the possibility of theft of your vehicle at the airport. Our helicopters are able to fly you directly in and out of your destination. . This will save you time and money, because you will be at your destination earlier, and you are also back home with your loved ones earlier !

As long as it is safe, we will take off and land anywhere and at any time as required by you. In our modern times, this can be invaluable to any businessman. As every businessman knows, time is worth money and the chartered helicopter is effective in avoiding traffic congestion, and transporting executives with busy schedules to and from international airports.

The Robinson R44 is a small light four-seater helicopter, ideal for charters to airports, game lodges etc, while the Robinson R22 is a two-seater helicopter.
