Laverne I agree that people make their own choices and that they are responsible, but you also get a lot of people who do not believe that God can do damage to the world!
- Look at when he God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah (for which ever reason you believe) – he destroyed a town…
- He turned Lot’s wife into a salt pillar…
- He did not stop the devil of destroying everything Job had
- In Exodus 4:11 God said himself that He is the one who makes people deaf, mute…etc!
- In Isaiah 45:7 God says: “I form the light and create the darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster: I, the Lord, do all these things.”I am a child of God and live my life for Him, but some people just believe in one thing and never look at what the Bible actually says… God is good and He is the light, but He can do devastating things to the world as we have seen in the flood with Noah!WHAT CAN I SAY THIS MAKE SENSE TO ME IS IT RIGHT???????

I am so glad that I have the privilege to answer this comment.
When people are not in relationship with our Father (God), they always see only a part of the word and cannot experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
In all the cases and scriptures, quoted by Laverne, the wicked and/ or unbelieving people were affected.
1. Sodom and Gomorrah. Yes, God did destroy a town. A town full of wicked, evil fornicators. The only righteous people were saved. Even Lot’s wife was wicked because she longed for that which she left behind. God gave her a second chance but she chose to look back. We have a choice. God even tell us what choice to make. In Deu 30:19 God says: “ I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live “ We have the choice. There are only two ways. Everything right through the Bile is about LIFE and DEATH. Even Adam and Eve had that choice. They chose DEATH. They did not physically die on the spot , but they lost the GLORY and the LIFE of GOD. They also died eventually a physical death. Who is GUILTY? Can I ask you a question? When a murderer is on trial and the judge find him guilty of murder, then send him to death, who is guilty????? Surely not the judge? How stupid can one be and still breathe!
2. What about JOB? Job did not listen to God’s voice! Please read the whole book of JOB. When Job realized that he should not complain , he repented, and God blessed him. He had more than double he ever had before. Job’s problem was that he allowed his wicked children to do what they want. People read small sections or just one scripture and try to make God a liar. My Bible says that God is not a man that HE can lie. Read the whole Book and you will realize that God is a God of Love and Grace! He sent HIS Son to die , so that we may live. For those who believe that, will live forever ( right here on earth). Those who do not believe that, will die , just like the people of SODOM and Gomorrah! John 3:16 says that GOD so LOVED the world, that those who BELIEVE in HIM will never die but will have EVERLASTING LIFE! 3. Yes, He created everything, Light and darkness! Good and evil! Can I shock you even more? HE created the devil! He even created the devil for one purpose, to destroy! Read Isaiah
Isa 54:16 Behold, I have created the smith who blows on the fire of coals and who produces a weapon for its purpose; and I have created the devastator to destroy. BUT Isa 54:17 But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord. God is good! He wants you to be like HIM. Wicked and evil people can not be His children. But when they repent and accept HIM (Change their wicked minds) then HE forgive them their sin and HE will never think of it again. That is why Jesus came. To take away the sin of the world. The SON of GOD became a son of man, so that the sons of man , can again become SONS of GOD! If you believe that, you can live forever! Not talking about life hereafter only, but IMMORTAL LIFE! Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: We are now the Temple of GOD. There will never be a physical temple again! Some preachers teach that the temple will be rebuilt in the physical Jerusalem. That is a wicked lie from the pit of hell! The physical Jerusalem , according to my Bible , is SODOM and HAGAR! There will never be peace again. We are the New Jerusalem. The City of God, the Bride of Christ!
